The Hillsdale College Chargers have not lost a game to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Saginaw Valley in more than eight years. The two teams met again Thursday night at Jessie Phillips Arena in Hillsdale, Michigan.
And the Chargers seemed determined to continue that win streak, as they defeated the Cardinals 75-57. Charger sophomore Chelsea Harrison led the way with an impressive 21 points, which included five three-pointers. She was backed up by a balance offensive attack by her teammates, including 15 points from Janay Miller and 14 from Brooke Knight.
With the win, the Chargers improve to 8-5 on the season, while the Cardinals, in the midst of an 8-game losing streak, fall to 2-11.
