The win (the fifth-straight by the suddenly red-hot Chargers) improves their record to 7-11 on the year, while the Lakers now sit at 9-5. After ending regulation in a tie, the Chargers quickly fell behind by five points in overtime, making their win even more unlikely. Tyler Gerber hit a 3-pointer and got a steal to help swing the momentum back Hillsdale's way in overtime.

The Chargers were led in scoring by Brent Eaton with 25 points, which included a jaw-dropping seven 3-pointers. The Lakers were led by Kyle Hunt's strong 21-point effort.
