Hillcrest offers up another great spot for sports, Lost and Found Saloon (Photos)

Lost and Found Saloon http://www.brazenbbq.com a self proclaimed sports bar attached to the best BBQ joint in the entire county as far as I’m concerned. Lost and Found Saloon is located at 441 Washington St up in Hillcrest. The BBQ joint is Brazen BBQ of the same address.

What’s in a good sports bar? Booze, TVs, good looking folks to watch when the action’s slow on the tube, and good food. The food at this spot is way better than good; it’s the best in the whole county. They even have a private parking lot, yet don’t bring a big posse because I think it’s only big enough for maybe 4 cars, but I’ve been lucky enough to get the lot for my ride to rest while I’m inside taking care of business every time I’ve been there for the food.

“Happy Hour Specials” are served daily from 3:30 – 6:30 and all day on Sundays. I can’t stress the overwhelming good taste of the food at Brazen. The culinary team has competed for honors at sanctioned cook-off events and when I watch Bobby Flay talk BBQ, the meaning of his words hit home when I eat with the folks at this eatery. Smoked meats with flavor that permeates the meats and every meat offered is the same thing, good all the way to the bones.

Their menu is large from spare ribs, brisket, tri-tip, pulled pork, chicken, hot links, and more. It offers unique flavors based on homemade rubs, real hardwood smoke, the standard low-and-slow cooking method, succulent sauces; all things there are truly smoked and wonderfully delicious. I’ve taken friends to this establishment who aren’t into BBQ but who came away converted for the great quality of this food.

No offense to Phil but this food is cleaner, crisper and overall tastier so get thee to the Lost and Found Saloon before the word is out there and the crowds line up around the block. The bottom line here is the Lost and Found Saloon serves you and yours the most unforgettable smokehouse barbecue you’ll ever taste. Honestly I can’t wait till next time.
