Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was released from the hospital today. It was reported on Jan. 2 that Hillary Clinton is expected to make a full recovery, despite the seriousness of the blood clot she experienced.
The New York Times also reported on Jan. 2 that Hillary Clinton left the hospital with both Bill Clinton and their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, by her side. It was also reported that Hillary Clinton should be able to testify before the Senate and House regarding the attack on the American mission that killed four Americans, including the American ambassador.
“I'm glad Hillary Clinton will be okay,” Melissa Waters, from Oklahoma City, said. “Once she is fully recovered, she'll be able to testify and, hopefully, tell the truth about what happened in Libya and who knew what and when.”
Hillary Clinton had been on blood thinners to dissolve a blood clot in her brain she sustained a concussion after a fall. Hillary Clinton didn't have a stroke or brain hemorrhages. Both strokes and brain hemorrhages are fairly common with the type of blood clot Hillary Clinton had.
