This will not be the first time that Moore and Quaid have worked together. They appeared, together, in Far From Heaven.
Julianne (Smith) Moore took her father’s middle name. She began starring in feature films in the early 1990s such as The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, Benny and Joon, The Fugitive and The Lost World: Jurassic Park. By the early 2000s she appeared in a series of films that received Oscar recognition, such as Boogie Nights, The End of the Affair and others. Moore is also a celebrity spokes model to Revlon since 2002 and has appeared in print ads and commercials.
Julianne Moore is to play former First Lady (but still First Lady in the film) Hillary Clinton in the HBO movie, The Special Relationship. Dennis Quaid will star as President Bill Clinton. The film will mark the directing debut of playwright Peter Morgan.
Quaid, who next stars in the new G.I. Joe movie, is no stranger to playing the commander-in-chief, as he played a character, before, loosely based on George W. Bush in 2006’s American Dreamz. - US Magazine
Dennis Quaid, an American actor and musician, became known in the 1980s and established a career as a Hollywood actor. Younger brother to Randy Quaid. He studied drama at Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Texas and later in college, at the University of Houston, under drama coach Cecil Pickett.
Quaid dropped out of college to pursue a career in acting. He began to gain notice in 1979 when he appeared in Breaking Away, Jaws 3-D (1983) and that same year, The Right Stuff.
He has appeared in both comedic and dramatic roles and has appeared in many productions, some of which are Enemy Mine, Innerspace, Great Balls of Fire!, The Parent Trap, Wyatt Earp and Far From Heaven. Quaid also earned several awards from the Golden Globe to Independent Spirit Awards.
