Hilary Duff says she and Mike Comrie "care a lot about each other"

Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie may have announced their separation in January, but the pair are very much together when it comes to raising their son -- so much so that many have assumed they have rekindled their relationship.

Although Duff and Comrie have yet to confirm any sort of reunion, Duff continues to speak highly of her husband, and in a new interview, she seemingly hinted that there is a possibility that they will one day reunite.

"I don't think Mike would ever go anywhere," Duff told Life & Style Magazine on May 7 when asked if she appreciates having Comrie around to help parent their son Luca, 2. "We're really dedicated to taking care of Luca. We're really good friends and spend a lot of time together -- and we're not in a rush for anything. We're just trying to enjoy our lives and figure out what makes us happy and it's working for us."

At the time they announced their split, it was assumed that their separation would eventually lead to a divorce, but after weeks went by and the pair continued to spend time with one another, it became clear that divorce wasn't something they were in a hurry to do. Instead, they have chosen to focus on Luca and have a great time together in the process.

Their separation could be the most amicable split in Hollywood.

"We do care a lot about each other," Duff went on to explain. "We're adults and we're making our way through life. Sometimes you do that together and apart."

It's good to see that Duff and Comrie aren't letting their separation come in between their relationship with their son. Often times, couples become so filled with anger towards each other that they forget what is important and become unable to enjoy parenting. These two are setting an amazing example.
