Hilary Duff has a new movie premiering next month at the Austin Film Festival, and it seems to be a major departure from the roles we usually see her in, like Lizzie Maguire and A Cinderella Story.
Houston native Duff co-stars in the film, Bloodworth, with Val Kilmer, Kris Kistofferson, and Dwight Yoakam.
E.F. Bloodworth returns to his family in Tennessee after a 40-year absence to find that his family has spiraled into a life of anger and bitterness.
Other movies having regional premiers at the festival include 127 Hours (James Franco, Amber Tamblyn, Lizzy Caplan), Black Swan (Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis), I Love You, Phillip Morris (Jim Carrey, Ewan MacGregor), and Welcome to the Rileys (Kristen Stewart, James Gandolfini).

Looking forward to Bloodworth. Sounds like a great cast has been assembled with Hilary Duff, Val Kilmer, Kris Kristofferson and Dwight Yoakam. Haven't been disappointed by any of the 3 male actors. Haven't seen much of Hilary Duff's work, but I don't see how this film can fail.
