New mom Hilary Duff is taking her health seriously these days. With a bit of left over baby weight to lose, she has been keeping in shape by heading out to exercise almost every day. Just Jared posted some photos of the former Disney starlet as she is doing some unusual moves as part of her exercise routine called piloxing.
It turns out that Duff has been getting into this unique form of exercise as part of her road to better health. What is piloxing? It’s a great fitness routine that is sweeping the celebrity world and beyond. It mixes Pilates and boxing moves to provide an extensive but rewarding workout. Trainer and founder Viveca Jensen hails from Sweden and is a former dancer. She incorporates the two moves into a routine that is guaranteed to whip that body into shape while having some fun doing it.
According to Duff, she is definitely getting whipped into shape as she tweets, “Working hard with my girl Viv @piloxing kicking my butt!” In the photos, the 25-year-old actress is proving that she has pretty good flexibility and strength. This type of fitness might be challenging, but it could be a great way to get your workout in. Both Pilates and boxing can be a fun way to lose those unwanted pounds for a healthier lifestyle.
