Former Disney girl Hilary Duff has nabbed a guest spot on Fox’s comedy hit show “Raising Hope” as reported by E Online on Jan. 23. This marks a definite return to her acting career as her fans have been waiting for.
The upcoming episode has Duff playing the role of Jimmy’s (Lucas Neff) ex-girlfriend Rachel, who arrives in town after he marries Sabrina (Shannon Woodward). His new wife will have befriended his ex, not knowing who she really is. How will this all play out? It sounds like their marriage does indeed stay intact, but this episode will sure to be a good one. It will be interesting to see if Duff will play the good ex or the bad ex. This episode airs on Feb. 26.
The 25-year-old actress has been busy being a new mom to 10-month-old Luca and getting back into shape after being pregnant. She is looking very toned and ready to get back to work. Anyone that has seen her as “Lizzie McGuire," as well as in movies, knows what a good actress she really is. Duff has also signed on for a project with 20th Century Fox to star and produce an upcoming television series. She is coming back big time!
