As an added bonus there is a nature center that have abundant information about the areas in addition to many interactive exhibits that teach about the history of the area in addition to the wildlands. This hiking trail is located near Kennedy Space Center. The hiking area is a great stop on your way to or from the Space Coast. The hiking trail is about 2.5 miles. The hiking trail is along the perimeter of the preserve. The hiking trail has many many interlocking loops. The hiking trail is open from Tuesday through Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. The hiking trail gates lock automatically so ensure that you leave on time to avoid spending the night there. Amenities in the area include a water fountains and also rest rooms. Please be aware that typically bicucles are not allowed on the trails.

The hiking trail is paved for a significant portion of the way. As you are hiking you can follow the oak trees along the Biodiversity loop. You can also take this hiking trail to continue on to the Enchanted Crossing. The hiking trail then continues through scrub forests and a silk bay. The oak canopy gets scarce as you continue so make sure to bring both water and sunscreen along with bug spray. As you are continuing on the trail you will come to a ridge that has amazing views of the Florida Atlantic Coast.
