Tiger left the house and Elin Nordegren went out looking for him, when he didn’t return.
Upon finding Tiger asleep in the locked car, she tried everything she could to get him out. No violence occurred.

Elin says she was completely blindsided by Tiger’s betrayal.
Elin was embarrassed that she never suspected what was going on.

Elin experienced weight loss and insomnia.

Having the children around was a tremendous help.
Elin says she found it therapeutic to go for long runs.
She also found comfort in writing her feelings down on paper.
ELIN’S FINANCIAL SETTLEMENT
Neither Elin nor Tiger will discuss the terms of their divorce settlement. But according to reports she received an estimated $100 million.
The financial details of the divorce settlement are in a separate document which has been sealed by the court.

HER FEELINGS ABOUT THE HUGE SETTLEMENT SHE RECEIVED
Elin said “Money can’t buy happiness, or put my family back together.”
But Elin says the money will make her life easier by giving her the opportunity to spend as much time as she wants with the children.
WHERE ELIN PLANS TO LIVE
Elin and the children will remain in the United States
Elin plans to move to southern Florida after Tiger settles into his Jupiter Island estate so the children can be close to their father.
ELIN’S FUTURE PLANS
Elin wants to go back to being a private person. She says there will be no more interviews.
Getting the children adjusted to their new situation
Completing her studies so she can get her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT TIGER NOW
Elin says she is working hard on the difficult task of forgiving Tiger, and that forgiveness will take time.
Since Elin and Tiger have shared custody of the children, she hopes to have a working parenting relationship with Tiger Woods.
Elin says she feels privileged to have witnessed part of Tiger’s golfing career.

I commend Elin Nordegren for her courage and determination to come public! Elin has a right to set the record straight after all the false rumors and innuendos that has been said about her for the last nine months. Elin has been badly wronged by Tiger, his mistresses and the media, so it is only fair that she has her say!!! Elin has been an inspiration to all the decent women around the world because of her dignity, self respect, courage and grace during this horrid ordeal! Elin and her precious children will have a very happy and bright future, because it is in the cards!!!
