Highlights

Here are the upcoming and current events at Charles H. Wright Museum .  On November 8, 2009 Hustle for History.  This event takes place every Sunday from 5:00-7:00 pm.  More information on this event to come.  The United States Naval Academy Gospel Choir will perform on Wednesday 11, 2009 at 11:00 am.  Admission is free.  This diverse group is directed by Karla Scott and the group travels regularly spreading joy through the praise of singing.  They performed at the Inaugural Concert for President Obama.

"Legends of the Music" The photography of Leni Sinclair is currently on exhibit now until December 20, 2009.  Her legendary photos are riveting and telling.  Through her extraordinary gift she is able to capture the essence of the moment not just a still image.  To view samples of her work visit http://www.lenisinclair.com.

On November 20, 2009 a wine tasting featuring African American Vintners will take place at 6:00 pm.  The event cost for members is $30 per person and or non-members it is $35 per person.  For more information on African American Vintners visit http://www.aaavintners.org.  For information on all exhibits and events go to http://www.maah-detroit.org.
