Country music stars make pretty good money and now news is out from Forbes for the highest-paid country stars of 2014. On Monday, CBS News shared who made the list. Of course Taylor Swift is on there even though a lot of people would not consider her country anymore.

Toby Keith is at the top of this list. This is the second year for him too and his income is $65 million for the last year. That is pretty good, but you have to wonder all that this includes. Toby has several restaurants as well as his country music career.

Taylor Swift is second on the list and she made $64 million last year. She was only one million behind Toby Keith which is pretty good for her. She has big endorsements that are helping her out and her big tour. Swift has also become a cross over artist which means she has fans buying her music and coming to concerts from more than one genre so that has to help her out a lot.

Third place was Kenny Chesney with $44 million and right after him in forth was Jason Aldean at $37 million. Jason had a rough year considering fans were not happy with him for his cheating scandal, but that didn't stop them from coming to his shows and buying his music. Luke Bryan was fifth with $34 million. It is a strong possibility that he will end up higher on the list next year.

This was a great year for country music and they are bringing in the money. It will be interesting to see how the list changes over the next few years as new people start to join the list and others move off from not working as much.
