High-speed chase ends safely

A routine traffic stop led to a high-speed chase through northwest Oklahoma City last night. Both Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s department participated in the chase. To stop the chase, the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputy disabled the car.

The driver did not want to be apprehended and attempted to run away from officers after his car was disabled. The foot chase ended with the man being caught by a K-9 deputy.

The 28 year-old was arrested by deputies. At that time, it was discovered that he had been driving without a license.
