There’s a high speed car chase currently underway in Houston, Texas. Police have just followed the car, a white van, into a parking car garage. It is believed that the person driving the vehicle stole the van.  According to a report from KTRK in Houston, the chase began at Wilcrest at Beechnut after 1:00 p.m., when a patrol office detected suspicious activity at the site of a white Dodge Caravan. As the officer approached the van, the driver sped away. The driver traveled at exceptionally high speeds and several officers pursued the van. The driver of the van reached miles of at least 90 mph, and had driven erratically, endangering the lives of motorists and pedestrians alike.

The chase culminated in North Harris County when police followed the van into a parking garage. One suspect fled from the vehicle on foot but was soon apprehended by officers. The suspect was caught as he jumped from a roof to a platform below the parking garage.  Reports state that there was another suspect in the vehicle.

The story is developing, more news to follow.
