According to Robin Penning, Communications Director at the Ritz-Carlton, the golf possibilities in the North Lake Tahoe are worth the trip. The courses are stunning, and there is that big lake there too.
Penning said: "Guests of The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe are invited to take advantage of a one-of-a-kind golf experience including their choice of two 18-hole rounds of golf at either Gray's Crossing or Old Greenwood – all while enjoying the accommodations and amenities of the region’s only AAA Five Diamond award-winning hotel. Gray’s Crossing is certified as only the 2nd Audubon International Gold Signature Sanctuary in the entire state of California and Old Greenwood is renowned as a Jack Nicklaus Signature Designed Course."
The package deal, dubbed the High Sierra Golf Experience, runs from May 16 through October 2, 2014. Starting at $399 per night, guests will be in deluxe accommodations and will have two 18 rounds of golf at Old Greenwood or Gray's Crossing. A golf cart and practice balls are included for each night at the Ritz-Carlton.
The package is subject to availability, and additional restrictions apply. Advance reservations are a must to get your preferred course and tee times.
The Ritz-Carlton's Mountain Concierge will store your clubs, and book your tee times as well as provide any information you may need on the great courses in the region.
The Ritz-Carlton is a 170 room Forbes Four-Star and AAA Five Diamond resort. It is not only the first Forbes Four-Star, it is the newest resort in the region in decades.
