Everyone has that celebrity that they'd like to go on a dream date with, but most times, they don't do a thing about it. That can't be said for high school senior Jake Davidson. US Weekly revealed on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, that Davidson recently taped a video that showed him asking "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit model Kate Upton to his prom.

Davidson posted the video asking Upton to his high school prom back on March 16, 2013, and it has since gone viral. The date of the big dance is on May 23, 2013, and Davidson has high hopes that the two-time "Sports Illustrated"swimsuit issue cover girl will accompany him.
"I'm Jewish, 5'9" on a really good day –- and I can't dance. At all," the L.A. resident jokes. "You're Christian, 5'10", and that Cat Daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny."
Davidson and Upton don't have a whole lot else in common, but he does know that she was on the cover of "Sports Illustrated" and he reads the sports magazine.
"I'm going to be real with you here, I don't have a girlfriend," Davidson confesses. "Kate, great moments are born from great opportunity. And that, is what you have here today. A chance to make a nice guy's senior year the best ever."
The high school senior wanted to make his request as romantic as possible, and that is why he dressed up for the video and even got down on one knee to ask Upton to his prom. Upton hasn't given her response yet, but the attention given to the video now may end up getting something from her.
