High school basketball postponements- January 6th

The icy roads caused many schools to call off classes for today.

The heavy rain today and dropping temperatures in the forecast for tonight has caused another round of high school basketball postponements.

The Foxcroft Academy Ponies boys basketball team was scheduled to travel to Cross Insurance Center for a class B clash with John Bapst.

That has been rescheduled for January 24th. J.V. game is set for 5:30 p.m., varsity at 7 p.m.

Houlton and Stearns will also make up their boys basketball game at Millinocket on January 24th.

Penobscot Valley high school from Howland will wait until January 25th to make their trip to Guilford to face the Piscataquis community high school Pirates boys basketball team.

J.V. game at 1 p.m., varsity game at 2:30.

Mattanawcook and Orono boys will make up their game on January 18th.

Game times are scheduled for 5:30 and 7.

The following games have been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 7th.

  • Penquis at Dexter- boys
  • Katahdin at Hodgdon- boys
  • Limestone at Greater Houlton Christian- boys
