The (snowy/icy/frigid) weather has caused more postponements to the high school basketball schedule around the state of Maine.
The Washburn/Wisdom basketball games were postponed for the second consecutive day.
They will try again on January 11th. Girls game scheduled for 5 p.m., boys game at 6:30.
Lewiston and Hampden also has been postponed again.
They were originally scheduled for Thursday.
The Devils and Broncos will try again on January 13th. Girls at Hampden, boys at Lewiston.
Sumner and Narraguagus girls will also try again on December 13th.
The Waterville and Oceanside games have been pushed all the way to February 1st.
Girls game at Waterville, boys at Oceanside.
Ellsworth at MDI girls basketball has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 4th. J.V. game at 2, varsity at 3:30.
Stearns was scheduled a varsity doubleheader against Searsport. That has been pushed back to January 20th.
The Orono Red Riots boys basketball team will have to wait one more day for their trip to Blue Hill. They will now play on Saturday. J.V. game at 3, varsity at 4:30.
Dexter at Bucksport and Mattanawcook at Calais boys basketball have been postponed.
The Dexter at Bucksport games will be played on Saturday, January 4th. J.V. boys at 2:30, varsity boys at 4 p.m. The Dexter girls will play at Bucksport as scheduled at 5:30 and 7 p.m.
