High school basketball postponements- January 2nd

Another winter storm has caused more postponements around the state of Maine.

Most of the postponements for this evening due to the snow are coming from south of Waterville.

Some school further north are postponing due to the severe wind chills.

Oxford Hills and Cony have been postponed. They will try again tomorrow night. The Rams boys team will travel to Oxford Hills, the girls game will be played at Cony.

Brunswick and Edward Little has been rescheduled to January 15th. Boys game at Brunswick, girls game at Edward Little.

Medomak Valley at Lincoln Academy girls and boys basketball doubleheader has been postponed.

Messalonskee/Skowhegan girls and boys basketball will have to wait until another day to play.

The undefeated Hampden Broncos boys basketball team will have to wait until tomorrow night for their showdown at Lewiston.

The Lewiston girls basketball team will travel to Hampden on Friday.

Washburn was scheduled to travel to Wisdom for a girls/boys doubleheader. That has been moved to Friday evening starting at 5:30 p.m.

Central Aroostook at Fort Kent has been moved to January 27th. The varsity girls game starting at 5:30, followed by the varsity boys game.

Narraguagus at Washington Academy boys basketball game has been moved to Saturday, January 4th. J.V. game at 1 p.m., followed by the varsity game.
