High school basketball postponements- December 23rd

The weather has caused changes in the high school basketball schedule for the third time in the past week.

This time it is freezing rain, forcing athletic directors to change the schedule.

The Central boys basketball team was scheduled to travel to Hermon this evening. That has been postponed, make up date will be announced later.

Easton at Washburn boys have been postponed, they will make up their contest on Saturday, December 28th at 2:30 p.m.

Old Town at Caribou girls/boys doubleheader will have to wait until later in the season.

Brewer at Skowhegan boys has been postponed for the second time in a week.

Southern Aroostook at Fort Fairfield boys game has also been postponed.

Leavitt high school has rescheduled their girls and boys varsity doubleheader. They will try again on January 4th.

The Ellsworth boys team will not make the trip to Calais.

Messalonskee will not travel to Augusta for their contest against Cony.

Washington Academy at MDI boys game has been rescheduled for January 6th.

  • Hermon/Penquis- girls
  • Dexter/PCHS- boys
  • Houlton/Madawaska- girls - rescheduled for 12/28 @ 1 p.m.
  • Houlton/Madawaska- boys- rescheduled for 12/28 @ 2:30 p.m.
  • Stearns/Schenck- boys
  • Edward Little/Mt. Blue- girls- rescheduled for 12/30
  • Edward Little/Mt. Blue- boys- rescheduled for 12/30

Check with your school before heading out.
