High school basketball postponements- December 20th

For the second time this week, the weather is causing havoc with the high school basketball schedule.

Oceanside was scheduled to travel to Newport for a girls/boys varsity doubleheader on Friday evening.

That has been moved to Saturday afternoon. The boys game is scheduled for 1 p.m., followed by the girls game at 2:30 p.m.

The PCHS boys were scheduled to travel to Central for a battle against the Red Devils. That has been rescheduled for January 15th. J.V. game at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 7 p.m.

The high powered Houlton boys basketball team was scheduled to travel to Millinocket for a battle against Stearns.

That has been postponed and will be made up on January 13th and will be played at Houlton.

The game that was scheduled at Houlton on January 6th will now be played at Stearns. J.V game is at 5:30, and varsity at 7 p.m. for both dates.

Katahdin at Central Aroostook boys basketball has been rescheduled for December 30th.

Lee at Penquis boys basketball has been rescheduled for January 2nd.

PVHS and Dexter boys will try and make up their game this Saturday. It will be a full day of basketball at Dexter high school.

The J.V. and varsity girls teams will host PCHS at 1 and 2:30. The boys makeup game against PVHS is scheduled for 4 p.m.
