High pressure settles over the region with pleasant conditions expected

High pressure will build west across the region today with intervals of clouds and sunshine and seasonable temperatures, ushering out the clouds and chill of yesterday away from our area. Dry weather is expected to continue into this evening until the next weather system begins to approach.

Another cold front and associated disturbance will approach the region late tonight into Friday with a renewed chance of showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. High pressure will then return for the weekend bringing pleasantly mild conditions. Another cold front will then approach the region by late Monday.
