Drier weather will finally return today as high pressure attempts to build into the region from the Great Lakes and the upper level low that has been plaguing us for days finally departs. Some clouds early will give way to increasing amounts of sunshine this afternoon with continued breezy conditions as a pressure gradient will still exist across the region.

High pressure will build across the region on Tuesday, and then off to the east on Wednesday. With a return flow developing, temperatures will slowly moderate into mid-week. A warm front will then approach later in the week with the chance for a few scattered showers or a thunderstorm.
