Synopsis…

A weak area of high pressure will crest over the region today with drier weather and abundant sunshine returning for Mother’s Day. Temperatures will remain very mild despite yesterday’s frontal passage with breezy conditions developing this afternoon.

Unsettled weather then looks to increase into the new workweek as a back door cold front approaches late Monday into Tuesday. It will remain quite unsettled and become cooler into mid-week as another slow-moving frontal boundary approaches from the Great Lakes region.
