High pressure will build into the region today with a cooler and less humid air mass arriving in wake of a frontal boundary.

High pressure will build back in to the region today with lower humidity levels and slightly cooler temperatures than yesterday, but it will remain a bit above average for early September.

Even warmer and more humid air will filter into the region by late week as high pressure slides east and a return southerly flow develops. Another cold front will approach by Saturday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms returning to the forecast.
