Hidden Talent: How to download magazines for free

See also

A lot of us have found the joy and convenience of reading our industry magazines on a tablet. You download when you have a wifi connection, and voila, you have them with you on set while you hurry up and wait. What you don't have to do is pay for many of them.

Zinio is a pay subscription service that will organize all your e-magazine subscriptions in one place, but if you have a Los Angeles Public Library card (and of course, you do) you can use it for free! Simply sign up here, using your LAPL account number, and you're in!

Since the service is free, this provides the opportunity to download guilty-pleasure magazines you otherwise might not be able to financially justify, but (can be) an important way to keep well-rounded as an individual and artist. Have fun exploring!
