Hidden Falls Adventure Park, an Exciting Day Trip or a Weekend Getaway

Looking for something different, fun and exciting to do this weekend with the entire family? Try Hidden Falls Adventure Park ! It's located just north of Austin off of Hwy 1431, that runs between Marble Falls and Lake Travis.  Hidden Falls offers offroading for ATVs, dirtbikes and full size 4X4's. It also has lots of other outdoor activities like paintball, archery and shooting sports, swimming, hiking and birdwatching. Hidden Falls boasts of 3,000 acres and 200 miles of trail.

Don't worry if you don't own an ATV or dirtbike, they rent them! Their RV camping area has lots of full hook-ups and the bathroom/showers are in a beautiful, landscaped rock building and are clean and inviting. That's something really special in an OHV park!

Clean is something you immediately notice about Hidden Falls, from the check-in to the marked and mapped trails system, the whole park is tidy. No trash in the camp areas or on the trails.

Primitive camping is situated under large oak trees and has several portable restroom facilties and large waste containers nearby to help keep that campsite clean. If you don't like camping and don't have access to an RV, they do have one cabin (sleeps four) available.

Yearly family memberships offer access any day of the week, day and guest use is available Thursday through Sunday.

Trails are mapped and rated, although it is advisable to consider that these trails have been utilized for a few years and some spots along certain trails may need to have higher rating (according to your own personal skill level). Trails are rated with a numbering system, where a # 1 trail is the easiest and a # 6 is the most difficult. There is a kids trails area near the RV campground where the little guys and gals can ride where Mom and Dad can keep an close eye out.

Helmets are required for all ATVs and dirtbikes and because this is a private park the OHV decal is not required.

Some trails offer spectacular views of the Texas Hill Country including Lake Travis and Marble Falls. Night riding is allowed until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

Hidden Falls also rents space for special events and offers an occasional Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) motorcycle license course and they are trying to schedule an ATV Safety Institute RiderCourse too.

If you looking for family fun, something different and good for a day or a weekend, try Hidden Falls Adventure Park!
