HHYF Seeks Trainers

The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is seeking qualified trainers to condition its stable ofTrottingbreds in preparation for the organization's 2013 summer program schedule.

Volunteer trainersare expected to jog or exercise the horse on a daily basis to build stamina, but no actual training miles are required. Trainer is responsible for all care, feed, hay, bedding, and shoeing.

Upon request, gifts-in-kind receipts for services can be issued. Horses would be delivered on or about April 15and picked up in late June.

The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is a charitable 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing young people and their families educational opportunities with harness horses, in order to foster the next generation of participants and fans.

The Foundation has been making a difference in young people's lives since 1976, and its programs include interactive learning experiences with these versatile animals, scholarship programs, and creation and distribution of educational materials.
