Easter is just a few days away - time to get the hard boiled eggs ready to dye with the kids. But do you really know how to the make a perfect hard boiled egg? It is one of the most simplest thing you can do in the kitchen.

The perfect boiled eggs
* 1 dozen large eggs (this recipe works for any amount of eggs you can fit in your pot from 1-12)
* Dash of salt
Put eggs in a large pot and cover with water. The eggs will float a bit and make sure they are in a single layer. Throw in a dash of salt. Bring eggs to a boil over medium heat. Once the water is boiling cook for 2 minutes - use a timer. After 2 minutes take eggs off the heat and cover with a lid. Set your timer again for 11 minutes and let the eggs sit in the water. When time is up, drain and run cool water over the eggs. Your eggs will be perfect every time if you follow these instructions.
