The Poutine Fest will be held on Sunday, February 24, at Haymarket Pub & Brewery. This is a first for Chicago. Poutine is Canada's popular late-night fast food favorite-- french fries and cheese curds smothered in gravy. Think it could catch on in Chicago? Would you like to try it? Sample poutine from some of Chicago's most daring chefs and sip craft beer- all while raising money for a good cause.
Chefs from eleven of Chicago's restaurants will submit their best poutine and compete against each other, butting heads in a fierce day-long battle, with only one walking away with the coveted title of 'King of Poutine'.
All profits from this event will be donated to Common Threads.
This is a 21+ event. Purchase tickets here.
