Right in Baltimore's historic Corned Beef Row, across the street from Attman's, you'll find the Jewish Museum of Maryland: they're having a very special food event coming up. Speaking of being across the street from Attman's, did you manage to sign up for that CBS Local Offers $5 discount to there? I did, but my print cartridge died out. All the other restaurant coupons that Baltimore people regularly use -- Groupon, Living Social -- have nice, green, convenient apps. I can't believe that a news company like CBS is so far behind the times as to require printing in this day and age. Maybe we should all call them and give them a piece of our minds.
So, onto the event. Corned Beef Row has, for almost 100 years, had a mix of Jews and African Americans living in the area. I learned about this at their Chosen Food Exhibit. Here's an event that's about one person's adopting of the Jewish faith and mixing it with his African American roots in a foodie way.
