Designers Max and Lubov Azria have excelled yet again with their Herve Leger by Max Azria Fall 2013 collection, which was presented in a fashion show for Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, held at The Theatre at Lincoln Center on February 9, 2013 in New York City.
This is a very artistically rendered Herve Leger by Max Azria autumnal collection with distinct Art Deco and Art Nouveau elements.
Art Deco inspiration is evident in the grey and black concentric or fan-like patterned dress with a flared skirt and the amber and brown fitted dress – both teamed with matching patterned leggings. Felt jockey caps accessorize the outfits as they do in the BCBGMAXAZRIA Fall 2013 collection debuted on February 7.
Art Nouveau appears in designs such as the fitted cream and black stylized leaf patterned dress, also teamed with fitted black pants that look like leggings.
Another striking pattern reminds one of the inside of a nutmeg – a striated design in deep brown and cream – featured in an A-line dress, teamed with matching slouch leggings that pool in layers around the ankles.
The plum dress with chiffon panels and a black leather belt is another possibility as is the ivory beaded dress.
Fur is featured in the way of solid colored cream, black and grey hoodies and coats, which team well with the prints in this collection.
Attending the Herve Leger by Max Azria Fall 2013 fashion show in style were Nichole Galicia, Sami Gayle, Leigh Lezark, Julie Henderson, Models Petra Nemcova and Coco Rocha. Miss Teen USA Logan West and Miss USA Nana Meriwether also graced the fashion show, complete with their name sashes identifying them.
