Hervé Léger by Max Azria Fall 2013 show: Nature-inspired with structural accents (Photos)

Hervé Léger by Max Azria, designed by Max and Lubov Azria, recently hosted its Fall 2013 show at the Theater at Lincoln Center. Celebrities in the front row included Coco Rocha, Petra Nemcova, Nichole Galicia, Alexa Ray Joel, Jessica Hart, Sammi Gayle, Julie Henderson, and DJ Kiss. The collection explores the beauty of nature and is inspired by Les Lalanné – the artist duo who sculpted surreal animals and vegetation, and fearlessly combined different elements of reality, nature and a sense of imagination into their works of art. It’s edgy, modern, feminine, and vivacious. The color palette features mostly neutral shades, with accents of forest green, navy, black and off-white.

Highlights from the collection included an alabaster/gunmetal applique bandage flare dress paired with a black cap with bandage detail, a black caviar texture bandage dress paired with a black jersey sheer crewneck top, a malachite bandage flare dress with geometric beading paired with a black leather/calf hair clutch, and an alabaster bandage dress with raised textured beading paired with a goatskin/fox fur hoodie of the same hue. What a dynamic blend of elements!
