Visitors to Las Vegas can now add chocolate to the list of things to indulge in Sin City. Hershey's Chocolate World opened June 3 at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino. The 13,000-square-foot retail space is a place for guests to customize candy wrappers for their favorite Hershey's products, shop for branded gifts or grab a Hershey's s'more, giant cupcake or chocolate-drizzled popcorn.

Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman was on hand with his showgirls to welcome the new store along with other Las Vegas dignitaries. The two level store is Hershey's West Coast flagship store and offers visitors more than 800 candy and chocolate offerings, including Hershey’s Kisses, Reese’s, Jolly Ranchers, Twizzlers and more. Sculptors created two custom chocolate sculptures, one of the New York City skyline and one of the Statue of Liberty for the new store.

“Las Vegas is one of the country’s top tourist destinations and the perfect place to bring one of America’s most iconic brands to life,” said Mike Wege, SVP Chief Growth & Marketing Officer, The Hershey Company. “Visiting Hershey's Chocolate World, our guests will enjoy an interactive space where they can taste new treats, personalize sweet gifts and create keepsake photos. These experiences are sure to draw candy lovers from what is arguably the most exciting street in the world and inspire sweet Las Vegas memories.”

Hershey's Chocolate World is part of New York -New York's new retail plaza experience. The complex will add Denver's Tom's Urban and New York City's Shake Shack later this fall.
