The reigning leader in F2P titles launches new mobile game from Kingdoms of Camelot franchise.
San Francisco based developer, Kabam is expanding its game library with Heroes of Camelot, the company announced today. Launching on iPhone, iPad, and iPod today, HOC is slated to release on Android through Google Play soon.
Utilizing the same King Arthur world as Kingdoms of Camelot, HOC exhibits a battle card system with RPG elements. Heroes of Camelot “is also optimized to take advantage of the new motion effects API, transforming the land of Camelot into a three dimensional world that comes alive through parallax in iOS 7,” Kabam said in a press release.
Players will be able to progress and upgrade cards that are distinct in abilities and powers. Additionally, players can team up for special combinations in a live player-versus-player arena.
There is much projected promise with Heroes of Camelot. The new mobile strategy game stems from one of Kabam’s four $100 million franchises. Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North was the App’s Store top grossing iPhone app in 2012. And The Kingdoms of Camelot franchise has grossed more than $250 million to date. No pressure.
Heroes of Camelot is available to play for free in the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. An Android version will release “soon.”
