Over the weekend, actress Dania Ramirez was in town to talk about Covergirl's Clean Makeup for Clean Water campaign.  Dania arrived at a local Walgreen's in a cute, peach ruffled dress from Express. Of course, being the latest Covergirl spokesperson, her makeup was flawless, though natural.  She has gorgeous skin and a personality to match.  The public was invited to try out Covergirl products and a makeup team was ready to help them with makeovers.

The Clean Makeup for Clean Water campaign is a charitable partnership between its Clean brand of makeup and the Children's Safe Drinking Water program.  The partnership kicked off in January when Covergirl made a $500,000 donation.  The partnership is intended to shed light on the critical, global need for clean, safe drinking water.  Dania was part of the partnership's launch in her native Dominican Republic.

This weekend, Dania greeted fans, took pictures, and talked about her own experiences as a child.

I know firsthand that a shortage of clean drinking water can be a matter of life and death.  When I was growing up, at times we had to boil our water before drinking it, so we didn't get sick or worse.

Dania's appearance came only a day after NBC announced the cancellation of the Heroes show, on which she was a regular.  Here she is on the set of a Maxim photo shoot.
