HERO, a local homeschool co-op, is hosting their Annual Homeschool Curriculum Fair on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. From 9:00 AM - 2:0 PM, homeschoolers are welcome to shop the used (and sometimes new!) curriculum tables.

In addition, there are two FREE workshops being offered during the Curriculum Fair.

  • 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM -- How to prepare a high school transcript for your homeschooler
  • 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM -- PSEO college panel discussion with admissions representatives from Northwestern College, Century College and Anoka Ramsey Technical College.

The Curriculum Fair will be located at Crossroads Covenant Church, Activity Building, 17445 Notre Dame Street in Forest Lake.

Previous curriculum fairs have offered everything from boxed curriculum to science kits to arts and crafts supplies to puzzles and games, all for a fraction of their retails costs.

"Curriculum fairs are a great way to check out what's available and to see first-hand what curricula look like before you buy," says Megan, a local homeschool mom. "We try to go to a couple every year."
