Herman Cain suspends campaign but still coming to Baltimore on Wednesday

Although Herman Cain, the GOP front-runner just one month ago, has suspended his campaign for president as of Saturday, he is still coming to his previously scheduled event in Baltimore this week.

The Harbour League, a conservative think tank 501c3, scheduled Mr. Cain for “A Night of Conservative Values and Camaraderie”, which spotlights four speakers, the highlight of whom will be Herman Cain.  The organization has reaffirmed that Mr. Cain will still be attending the event.

There is much speculation over who Mr. Cain will throw his support behind, with educated guesses going to Newt Gingrich.  However, recent polls have also shown a surge for Ron Paul due to the suspension.
