The Easter Bunny is personally inviting all Clevelanders and their children to hop aboard the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's "Easter Bunny Express" on Saturday, March 24 for a special holiday adventure that's not far from home.
Easter Bunny Express With departures at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. from the Rockside Station in Independence, passengers will get to enjoy a leisurely train ride with the Easter Bunny as they journey through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park to Peninsula, Ohio.
Once there, a bus will take all passengers to the nearby Happy Days Lodge for the annual Easter Egg Extravaganza. Among the activities will be making crafts and a puppet show. The showcase activity will be an Easter Egg Hunt where passengers can enjoy the sight of the children scurrying around looking for the hidden Easter treasures.
A bus will then transport the passengers back to the Peninsula train station where they will board for the return trip.
Cost for the Easter Bunny Express train excursion is $25 for adults and $12 for children. It is highly recommended that you make advance reservations and it is suggested that you arrive at the Rockside Station at least a half hour before departure.
