For you adventure seekers, you don’t want to miss the Black Water Falls Duct Tape and Cardboard Sled Race. It will be held on February 23 at Black Water Falls State Park in Davis,West Virginia.
The rules are quite easy. Your “sled” can be made only of corrugated cardboard and duct tape. Nothing else. And the contraption also must convey the rider down the slope and across the finish line in the sled run.
And for those who participate, there are prizes for the most visually appealing sled, the team having the most fun and the best downhill time.
There is a registration fee – one dollar. The fee and the easy to fill out registration form should not scare anyone off. Registration starts at 10 a.m. The races start at 11 a.m. Adults and children may participate.
