Atlus has been busy revealing a lot of new (and old) games they plan to release this month. Even if you have been keeping up it could be a little confusing, so let's go over all the release dates for Atlus games that are expected to come this month.
"Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army" (April 1):
Full name (as if the above wasn’t enough) "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army". This game originally released on PlayStation 2 several years back, and has now been brought to the PlayStation 3 on PSN as a PlayStation 2 Classic. Even though it’s quite a bit different from most other "Shin Megami Tensei" games, it still manages to feel like one overall. It is available right now for $9.99 on PSN.
"Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4" (April 8):
Like "Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army", this game was originally released on PlayStation 2. It was also released on PlayStation Vita with a few extras not found in the original game. Now "Persona 4" is being released on PlayStation 3 as PlayStation 2 Classic. This of course will be the original version, and not the PlayStation Vita version. "Persona 4" on PlayStation 3 will cost $9.99 when it releases.
"Conception II" (April 15):
Unlike the previous two games, "Conception II" is a completely new release. It’s the second game in the "Conception" series, and the first of the series to be released outside of Japan. It has drawn a lot of comparisons to the "Persona" series, and for good reason. There’s a demo available right now on both PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS, the two platforms it will be released for.
"Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure" (April 22):
"Tesla Effect" is a game from the "Tex Murphy" series of games. A full-motion-video PC adventure game, "Tesla Effect" follows the detective Tex Murphy as he offers his skills as a private investigator in a post-World War III San Francisco. Atlus recently detailed the pre-order bonuses for "Tesla Effect".
"Daylight" (April 29):
"Daylight" was originally supposed to be released at the beginning of the month, but it was delayed until April 29 to give it a bit more time for finishing touches. "Daylight" is a thriller video game that is meant to mess with your mind, and basically just scare you like crazy. It was at the center of a bit of controversy for Atlus late last month. "Daylight" will be releasing on PC and PlayStation 4.
There you have it, the complete release schedule for Atlus this month. You may have noticed that they have a game releasing every Tuesday this entire month. Needless to say, they’re likely going to be very busy with this many games releasing in April.
