Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” has been a ratings bonanza for TLC, and fans were given a chance to catch up with Alana Thompson and her family on the Sunday, Jan 6. “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” Halloween special. TLC will air a series of three Honey Boo Boo “HOLLAday” specials.

Seems that Honey Boo Boo, Mama, Sugar Bear, Chickadee, Chubbs and Pumpkin are just like every other family in America, they like to decorate the yard, dress up in costumes and go trick-or-treating. All the girls, including 18-year-old Anna, love Halloween because they love candy. Honey Boo Boo tells fans, “Halloween is all about treats…treating myself to candy.”

TLC treated fans to one hour of Thompson family hilarity including a visit to Kackleberry Farms pumpkin patch, which looked like a field where someone randomly placed pumpkins throughout. The girls each pick out a pumpkin, and they even got a “wop-sided” one for Mama June because she is “wop-sided”

To fill up the hour-long “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” Halloween special, Mama June dyed her hair blonde, and fans find out June has a fear of mayonnaise because when June was a child the babysitter fed her nothing but mayonnaise sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, dinner, even as a snack.

Anna “Chickadee” wanted to dress up her baby Kaitlyn as a crab, because her extra thumb makes her look as if she has a claw. In the end the family dressed baby Kaityn up as a hot dog and mom Anna and aunt Jessica dressed up as ketchup and mustard. Lauryn, also known as Pumpkin, could not go trick-or-treating as she suffered an eye injury after an unfortunate accident with a set of car keys. Alana dressed up as a pink and black Gothic princess, while Sugar Bear, dressed as a bear and carrying a bag of sugar, went out as “Sugar Bear.” Sugar Bear wanted June to dress up in a “Some Like it Hot” Marilyn Monroe dress. June modeled the dress for the family, but refused to wear it, and decided instead to go out in long-johns wrapped in toilet paper as a Mummy.

The family took the flatbed and went trick-or-treating in the “rich part of town” and at the country clubs, because that is where all the “good candy is.” Mama June told viewers that each girl got “at least four bags of candy each.”

Next Sunday Jan. 13 fans can tune in for the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” Thanksgiving special on TLC at 9:00 p.m. ET. On Feb. 17, fans can tune in for the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” Christmas special at 9:00 p.m. ET.
