"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" stars reportedly escaped serious injuries during a car crash in Georgia on Monday, according to the Los Angeles Times on Jan. 7.

The entire "Honey Boo Boo" family, including Alana "Honey Boo Boo", "Mama June" Shannon, David "Sugar Bear", Lauryn "Pumpkin" and Jessica "Chubbs", were in the car on Monday when father David "Sugar Bear" made a left turn in McIntyre and was hit by another vehicle.

Said "Mama June" Shannon in a statement on Tuesday, "As many of you have heard, we were in a car accident last night. It was really scary for us, since it was the first time any of us had ever been in a wreck."

She went on to say that they are definitely really sore today, but their top priority is to celebrate Pumpkin's birthday.

She turned 14 today, and no matter how sore we feel, we are going to go out and celebrate. As always, we want to thank everyone for their support and well wishes.

Film crew for the TLC reality show were not with the family when the accident occurred. The family was transported to a nearby hospital, but there were no reports of serious injury.

Reports have not indicated what happened to the occupants of the other car or whether or not the other driver was issued a driving citation.
