Anna, who is better known as Chickadee on the reality show, is planning her wedding to Michael Cardwell. Radar Online reports on Tuesday that the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star does not want a long engagement, so her family is helping her put together a fun ceremony. They plan to keep the wedding intimate by limiting the number of friends and guests.

Chickadee’s engagement involved a pizza and pepperoni letters to pop the question. Michael had the words spelled out on the pizza and an engagement ring in his pocket. Honey Boo Boo’s older sister accepted the proposal, and the family spent the rest of the evening celebrating together. He had previously received permission from her parents to ask her to marry him, but his proposal has been labeled as redneck.

It seems that Chickadee has picked up Mama June’s frugal habits and has been using them as she plans her wedding. The couple has decided the ceremony will be on May 3 at a friend’s home, and TLC will be taping it for the reality series. Chickadee has come up with several ways to cut costs while planning a wedding with 80 guests.

Honey Boo Boo’s older sister is not worried about finding the best designer dress and has purchased a cheap version online that fits her style. The rest of the wedding party is also getting inexpensive dresses that will match the bride’s teal and white theme colors. Fans can expect to see both Honey Boo Boo and Chickadee’s daughter during the ceremony.

The bride is saving money on the traditional wedding cake by having her aunt prepare it for her. She is doing her best to copy Mama June’s thrifty ideas for her ceremony. “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” fans will eventually get to see the entire wedding and the preparations on the show.
