Herbalife recalls some Instant Healthy Meal Nutritional Shake Mix

Herbalife International of America has recalled some lots of their Instant Healthy Meal Nutritional Shake Mix packets. The label identifies the product as dairy-free, but testing showed some products contained a small amount of milk proteins.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk risk a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume products with milk proteins.

The recalled Instant Healthy Meal Nutritional Shake Mix packets were distributed to independent distributors throughout the U.S. between January 16 and February 16. The product comes in cartons of 12 packets or as single-serving packets in the company’s introductory business pack. The recalled lot numbers are:

  • 133405G10
  • 133408G10
  • 133409G10

The lot number is printed on the seal to the right side of the front panel of the individual packet, and on the bottom of the 12 packet cartons.

The FDA recall notice can be viewed here.

Consumers with the recalled products can return them to the distributor for a full refund. For additional information, contact Herbalife’s customer service department at 1-866-866-4744
