The folks behind Bread Winner's Cafe and Bakery are opening up a new dining oasis on McKinney Ave in the spot where Acme restaurant once stood. The menu will feature small and large plate offerings, as well as fresh charcuterie.
The charcuterie is coming from Meat Parlour, a company created by Adam Kovac, the Executive R+D Chef for Bread Winner's. The beverage program, which will include an array of elixirs, as well as an eclectic wine list and 24 beers on tap— will be headed up by
Dallas' favorite mixologist, Alex Fletcher from Victor Tangos.
Also at the helm is the restaurant's general manager Rosanne Dileo—who created a name for herself locally as the chef at The Libertine Bar and most recently at Boulevardier in Bishop Arts. Before you see her at the restaurant though, you can find her appearing as a contestant on Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey September 10.
The restaurant will have a spacious dog-friendly patio complete with an outdoor fireplace, pool table, TVs and al fresco dining. Even better, it will be open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays so that you can easily drop by with your pooch after you've trekked down the Katy Trail.
