Henry County boy, Jeffre Few, found safe

Thankfully, the search is over for a Henry County boy, who local authorities said had been taken from his school by his mother last month. An update to the Henry County boy, Jeffre Few, who went missing October 19, 2009, was found safe in Texas. Jeffre was reunited with his father, Shawn Few, of Atlanta, Ga.

It was believed Jeffre was picked up at Flippen Elementary School in Stockbridge, GA by his mother, Jennifer Cook though Jeffre's father, Shawn Few, had just been granted full custody.

Police enlisted the help of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in an effort to find Jeffre Few. Cook and her son were located in Galveston, Texas, Friday night. She was arrested on warrants out of Henry and Butts counties. Deputy Jose Salazar, of the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office in Texas, said Cook is being charged as a fugitive for fraudulently obtaining drugs. She is currently being held without bond.
