Henry County 2013 Governor's Honors Program Finalists announced

Henry County, GA -- The Georgia Governor's Honors Program (GHP) here, is a four week summer residential instructional program for intellectually gifted and artistically talented high school students, providing them a challenging and enriching educational opportunity not usually available during the regular school year.

The list of finalists was released at 0900 March 22, 2013. The following Henry County student names were found in the state-wide list:

Dutchtown High–

Each summer activities are designed to provide participants with opportunities to acquire skills, knowledge and attitudes to become independent, life-long learners. The program is fully funded by the Georgia General Assembly and operates at no cost to the participant. GHP finalists participate in one of the 15 following areas:

  • Theatre/Design

  • Agriscience/Environmental Science
