Ask people what the best MMA fight of all-time is and some with likely say Dan Henderson/Mauricio Rua at UFC 139. So that means we are in luck. A rumored rematch between both men appears set for UFC Fight Night 38 on March 23rd. Speaking to MMAJunkie.com, “Hendo” explained why he took the fight:
“Anytime you get a fight as good as that you want to see it again. If I had gone out there and knocked him out pretty bad and handily won, I wouldn’t have done it again.
“I think a lot of fans want to see it, and I think ‘Shogun’ wanted to do it again, too.”
More than anything else, Henderson just needs a win. The former Olympian has dropped his last three UFC fights and might be on his way out of the promotion if he doesn’t get the “W” this spring. Rua, on the other hand, is coming off a knockout win against James Te-Huna in December. Prior to that fight, the Brazilian struggled having lost 4 of 6 fights.
The rest of the card is as follows:

Featherweight Rony Jason vs. Steven Siler
Lightweight Gleison Tibau vs. Mairbek Taisumov
